ive been using a unlicensed xp pro os, now i bought a licensed xp home os, how do i activate my product? i mean how do i change my xp pro to xp home ed. and activate my product key. hopefully some process that doesnt involve re-installing everything:)How to change from xp pro to xp home?
Those are two different versions of windows. You will need to reinstall the new OS, and enter the key when prompted to activate the product. However you can just Update windows to the new OS instead of just clean installing and loosing all your current files.
