How do you change your Windows XP computer to a Windows Vista?

I need to do this change because I got this game, Microsoft Flight Simulator X Delux Edition. My computer is a Windows XP and it does not work on regular XP. So how do I change it to Vista?How do you change your Windows XP computer to a Windows Vista?
1. You don't change it, you upgrade it or reinstall, but this time with Windows Vista.



2. It works with Windows XP based on the system requirement at Microsoft Flight Simulator X site.

I have XP and FS X Deluxe runs just fine (DX9 instead of DX10).
