How do I change my XP start bar back to normal?

It looks like the windows 98 startbar now, not the XP one. All grey, including the popup menus under the start button.How do I change my XP start bar back to normal?
do the following:

Right click your desktop

when display properties pops up you should be under the themes tab. If not click that tab

below Theme: (or to the left of save as) click the drop down arrow. Once you have done that click Windows XP modified. then click OK. If it doesn't change it go back in and repeat this BUT BEFORE CLICKING OK CLICK APPLYHow do I change my XP start bar back to normal?
right click on the desktop and go to properties then go to the tab ';themes'; and choose the theme ';windows XP'; and go apply and then go OK and it should go back to XP. The setting it is on it is probably ';windows classic';

Then just change your background to what you want
Ok you have changed your theme to look like windows 98 but we can fix that...

1. Go to your desktop and right click in a blank space, then click on properties.

2. Select the Themes tab (It may already be chosen)

3. Change the theme in the drop down box to Windows Xp and this will change your appearance back to the original state. It may take a while so be patient...

4. Click on apply and press ok!
