I've got a E-machines computer. Recently hard drive went down. Recovery partition was damaged as well. There is no CD that comes with computer. So I installed Win XP home from another system just to make it running.
My question is the following: how do you change system's id so it will think that it is media center, not home. I've got serial only for Media center.How to change Windows XP home edition to Media Center edition?
You have to do a clean install.
