Im fed up of vista, my comp just cant handle it. Where and how can i change to Windows XP?

My computer is windows vista and every 15 minutes it says not responding when a program like firefox, int.explorer, msn or skype is running. It freezes the whole computer. Vista is so resource hungry and i dont even use that many programs this comp. How can i change to XP?Im fed up of vista, my comp just cant handle it. Where and how can i change to Windows XP?
Vista was overated when it came out with many problems. Windows 7 is the newest OS. I don't know if you can change back from Vista to XP.Im fed up of vista, my comp just cant handle it. Where and how can i change to Windows XP?
I really don't know what you are whining about for I have Vista Home Basic with Norton Internet Security 2010 and the browser is IE8

when I start my computer it is up and running within about 30 seconds which is nice and fast,

what I did to make it fast was to choose vista home basic as the operating system without the new ';Aero Desktop'; saving on the memory and install it replacing the pre-installed version.

this gets rid of all the trial programs that you get on the computer when you buy it which in turn runs in the background just waiting for you to use it and saving on disk space.

i have a 10MB broadband speed and a computer with 2GB of memmory pre-installed which makes this computer very fast.

just remember if you do decide on installing vista home basic like I have done you wont get any other programs with vista just the operating system and windows defender,

any other programs can be added later like windows open office 2007 or the free version from http://www.openoffice.org

and don't forget a internet security package for your computer,

the all in one suites are better then 3 or 4 different programs.
Instead of XP, I recommend trying out Linux, its much faster, more secure, and easy to use.

There are a number of ways to install it. You can burn it to cd ( http://imgburn.com/ ) and then boot it live and install it. If you cant figure that out you can use http://wubi-installer.org/ or http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
Are you sure you do not have a virus? I know vista for anyone with less

than 4gb's of ram is an issue but the symptoms you wrote is also a classic symptom of being infected. Good luck with your comp!!
