i am trying to download a game on my PC, its a windows XP, and so i installed it and whenever i click to play the game it says

so when i went to the properties, it only has 32 bit and 16 bit. how can i cange my screen to be 8 bit?

thank youWindows xp change to 256 colors 8 bit?
its not for windows XP if it wants 8bits, more than likely its for win98. right click on the file you use to start the game and go to the Compatibility tab. select Run this in compatibility with:

start with win 95 and go up from there.Windows xp change to 256 colors 8 bit?
That must be a really old game.

Well, you can try this:

Right click the icon for the file (or use Explorer and right-click the file) and click on 'Properties.'

Click the 'Compatibility' tab and check all the check boxes.
