How to change XP username Not the profile user name.?

When I go to Run, CMD, then set. It will list information. The username is what i would like to change. How do i do this? How to change XP username Not the profile user name.?
That is your profile user name. Now if your talking about your user name that is displayed on your start menu, that is more of a domain specific function. In active directory, when you right click your profile and select properties, there is an info tab where you enter your first and last name.

So what that does, it makes it so when you log in, the name you type to log in is not the name displayed on the start menu.

If you have windows xp professional, you can right click ';My Computer'; then select ';Manage'; to open the microsoft management console. Select local users and groups, then open the users folder and right click on your user name and select properties and fill in the full name box. If that does not have the desired effect, in that same folder, right click the user and select rename.

One of those has to achieve what you are looking for.
