How can you change windows xp...?

... so that the toolbar is a different colour from olive or blue or silver? ---i suppose you have to download it..am i right? How can you change windows xp...?
To everyone that suggested changing the color via Display settings, the poster asked for something OTHER then Silver, Olive, or Blue. Those are the only three choices in Windows XP.

To the folks who recommended programs like Windowblinds (stardock.com) and others, that's the way to go. Windowblinds is free and you can do very cool things with it. Here are thousands of examples: http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?l

Have fun!How can you change windows xp...?
press start, go to control panel, click on dispay and choose themes, there you can change it.
yes you have to download them.. search for : xp themes, Startup screens,
control panel (go to display proporties) or rite click ont eh desktop and select proporties, then appearence. and just go to advance to have a diffrent selection of colours.
i think it's already there as a theme..u jus need to change your theme
On an unused part of the desktop, right click and select properties.

Go to the appearance tab and select another option OR click advanced and select any colour that Windows can produce.

This does also mean that the top of your windows will also be the same colour but there doesn't seem to be a way around that!
try to use this software windowblind
Get customizing softwares like StyleXP. Also, Flyakite offers customizing your Windows to have a Mac OS look and feel. Advanced users use a UXTheme patcher and manually installs the theme files.

You search these softwares by googl.. rather thru Yahoo! :)
Nooooooooooope if you wanna change the colour of toolbar you go onto properties then appearance, if you want to chnage xp itself you gotta buy a differ programme
Go to blank part of screen right click, click on properties, click on appearance, click on colour scheme. Then choose your colour, click apply, then click okay. :-)
right click on your desktop and click properties then click on the appearance tab and play with the windows and buttons menu and the color scheme menu.
you don't have to download anything... just right click on ur desktop, click properties then click the appearance tab...from there u can choose the toolbars color...
