dont do it, stay with xp, vista is not compatible with alot of xp software and hardware, so you would have to spend alot of money. also since vista is fairly new, it does have alot of bugs in its programming

If you just want the eye candy, you can use Windowblinds, this program makes it possible to change your desktop in any theme you like but slows your PC down!



There are also free theme's which require you to install a patch and remove your i386 map (Windows recovery map with all default drivers and settings) which is not really advisable because if you install new hardware windows keeps asking for your original installation cd.
