Is there anyway to change from Windows ME to Windows XP?

i bought this computer, Emachines T3100, for 50bucks off some family who didnt know about computers and wanted to get rid of it. They only used it for Windows Media Player and some cheap games.

I just took everything off and i saw it was ME, i was wondering if i can change it to XP and how?Is there anyway to change from Windows ME to Windows XP?

Don't think it would be worth your effort. Windows Me requires less than 2GB where as XP requires up to 15GB on your hard drive of which this old computer will not handle. The OS from ME to XP is totally different where as one runs on one partition while the other runs off of ';two.'; As much as some on here seem to think all you have to do it ';load'; it, it is not that SIMPLE. Sorry..............
