u may have original code but it wont help u windows continually scans computers for pirated code and for legit codes. if it sees 2 identical codes it will disable the latter of the 2 codes to b activated. in fact it may not allow the 2nd person using the same code at all



even if u did get it to work window update would require a validation tool to b downloaded b4 the sp2 so ur copy would fail verification and update wouldnt help u in short get real copy
